The L’Oréal project includes a series of projects spanning from gathering consumer insights relating to green cosmetic trends to developing integrated digital marketing campaigns for L’Oréal brands.
In semester 3-2018, more than 150 students in the course MKTG1422 Digital Marketing Communication had a rare opportunity to work with NYX Professional Make-up and Kiehl’s marketing personnel in an authentic industry-based assignment to design integrated marketing communication campaigns for the brands.
24 students entered the final pitch to present their marketing ideas and won certificates of achievements, in-kinds prizes. 10 students were considered for intern positions at L’Oréal Vietnam.
The projects led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between RMIT Vietnam and L’Oréal Vietnam relating to authentic assessments, company visits, field trips, guest speakers, internship, and management trainee programs as well as the launch of L’Oréal Brandstorm Competition in Vietnam.
