Number of Participants: 49 Mid-level Leaders and Managers of the Advanced Political Theory Program of HCM National Academy of Politics

The Australia Embassy Vietnam intends to organise the delivery of a course in Strategic Leadership for Government  Officials to select participants from the Ho Chi Minh National  Academy of Politics’ (HCMA)  Advanced Political Theory (APT) program, at the invitation of HCMA. The Strategic Leadership for Government Officials Program has been designed to assist participants to relate concepts, styles  and current thinking to their own leadership, the leadership  of the people they report to and their own reports providing opportunities for reflection and for learning-in-action. This  training introduced the approaches of Vietnamese Government leaders, demonstrated how an understanding of Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and Vietnamese culture can equip government leaders with different type of intelligences, provided knowledge and skills on Strategic Roadmap, Self-Leadership, Leading Others, Cultivating leadership excellence.
