This program replaces the Bachelor of Fashion (Merchandise Management) from July 2020.


This program prepares you to become a leader in contemporary fashion enterprises, equipping you with the necessary knowledge and skills in fashion retail management, marketing management and product management.


You will develop a deep understanding of various aspects of the industry, such as distribution and retailing, product design and development, fashion branding, the theory and practice of visual merchandising, global and local supply chains, and international and national fashion systems.

You can choose to specialise in one of the following areas:
• Design and Product Development

• Retail and Merchandising

• Customer Relationship Management and Communication


You will have access to the Fashion Softlab (with its facilities such as digital embroidery machine, direct to garment digital printer, sewing machines and overlock machine etc.) in the campus as well as online resources such as the Berg Fashion Library, Vogue Archive and fashion trends website WGSN to help you stay up to date with key trends in the industry.


In your final year of study, two Work Integrated Learning (WIL) projects provide a chance to connect theory to practice and engage closely with real industry partners.
