Clients: Aus4Skill / Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs – Directorate of Vocational Education and Training

Number of Participants: 22 leaders from vocational education training colleges, leading logistics enterprises, and government agencies in charge of vocational education training issues (DVET) and industry promotion (VCCI)

RMIT University's School of Business & Management (SBM)  has successfully delivered a three-modular training program on "Leading in the Age of Digital Disruption" to Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions and logistics enterprises, which was funded by the Australian Government. The program provides an opportunity for participants to share their reflections on the application of digitalisation knowledge and skills gained through the training  course in their practical situations. The application topics ranged from artificial intelligence, cyber security, blockchain in logistics management, education, utilizing journals, e-learning, digital competency framework, and virtual assistants to QR code technology that were delivered by a group of top School's experts led by Professor Robert McClelland.

At the program's Graduation Ceremony, we had the honor of welcoming Mr Ciaran Chestnutt - Australian Deputy Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City, who emphasised how this opportunity has strengthened Vietnam's workforce productivity, with a particular focus on improving skills in the logistics sector. Professor Robert (Bob) McClelland also believes the program has served a valuable function in responding to current market needs and technologies in Vietnam, promising a strong future partnership between both parties.
