"dear_” is an experimental code-based artwork
that explores the theme of navigating a maze to discover hidden letters.
The project originally aimed to create generative art
but evolved into an interactive puzzle with a maze theme, inspired by the complexity of love. The maze's content reflects the seven stages of post-breakup emotions: (1) shock/obsession, (2) denial, (3) bargaining, (4) anger, (5) depression, (6) acceptance, and (7) hopefulness.
Each stage is visually represented in the maze design, with the path and direction guided by images and lines. Players progress through the stages, symbolizing their journey from confusion to hope.
