Representing GrabFood in this compelling initiative, the team’s mission was to illuminate the path toward a more equitable landscape in modern-day Vietnam. Inspired by the fervent pursuit of gender balance, the team embarked on a captivating journey, unravelling the intricate dynamics of the labour force. The team’s purpose was to spark a revolution within the food delivery industry, offering a symphony of empowering narratives and ideas that unveil the latent potential of women food shippers. Gender inequality in the labour market is glaringly evident through participation and income disparities based on gender. Socio-cultural factors also play a pivotal role in shaping gender inequality in Vietnam. Through this project, the team aims for businesses in the food delivery industry to support their female drivers, thereby collectively striving for gender balance in the labour market.
