A Competence Management System (CMS) is a tool for managing and cultivating the intellectual resources of a corporation. This is especially relevant for technology companies to keep up with industrial advances. As quality IT personnel is in high demand, a CMS aids in training and retaining competent employees for business needs. Digital CV is a Fullstack web application intended for internal company usage at Bosch Vietnam. Our project offers three sets of features for Employees, Managers, and System Admins. 

 

Each employee has a CV that contains his/her competencies. Managers can search for employees having specific competencies, which is helpful when assigning tasks in a project. Furthermore, managers can assign development plans to employees. When creating a development plan, managers are assisted by a Machine Learning model that suggests relevant learning resources for the selected competency. Then, employees can complete the development plan to gain a new competency that automatically updates their CV. Admins can view the development statistics of the company, such as the average time to learn a skill, or the percentage of employees having each competency. 

 

With these features, we aim to both lessen the work of project managers and encourage the professional growth of employees.
