AI Chatbot for Career Services

The RMIT Department has recently been facing increased demand for student support services, ranging from careers consultation, course-to-career journeys, to Internship and employment-related inquires, to their career services. Thus, our team, Engineering Capstone SGS campus - Team FiveG, have developed a RAG-based, Azure Cloud service-hosted, Career AI chatbot assistant as a solution to this problem. 



Utilizing Azure OpenAI’s LLM model, the Career Chatbot will provide 24/7 automated guidance for RMIT students, offering access to career services, and answering their inquiries. In adherence to RMIT’s strict code of conduct on data security and privacy, the chatbot is capable of delivering personalized responses and answers to students via accessing student’s academic records and data.
