AI CHATBOT FOR SUPPORTING PATIENTS AND CUSTOMERS OF THE UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTRE HOSPITAL IN VIETNAM

The objective of this research and development project is to create and implement an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot that is specifically designed for the University Medical Centre Hospital in Vietnam. The principal objective is twofold: firstly, to enhance the quality of patient and customer support and, secondly, to reduce the burden on the hospital's healthcare workforce.


The chatbot, which is powered by Dialogflow will function as an intelligent virtual assistant, responding to a diverse range of queries from patients and customers. This will considerably enhance the hospital's telehealth capabilities, facilitating greater accessibility to healthcare information and support. Moreover, the chatbot will address frequently asked questions about common yet intricate hospital procedures proactively.


A comprehensive content management system will be implemented, enabling hospital personnel to not only monitor essential usage metrics and derive actionable insights but also to adapt existing chat scenarios and introduce new ones as required. This system guarantees that the chatbot remains current, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of its users. This scalable solution is well-positioned to markedly enhance the user experience for a diverse patient population seeking healthcare support.
