In RMIT, everything is about opportunities. The learning and researching materials like journal articles, databases, books, magazines, videos, and films are not just for assignments, but for broadening the knowledge and insights in all fields. The facilities with computers, projectors, meeting rooms, gyms, library, sporting fields, advisory areas fully equipped and available to everyone, are not just for studying, but for a work-life balance in university life. The events, clubs, workshops, seminars, both online and offline, are not just for fun, but for full-course development of social skills, learning tips or even physical enhancement. The alumni system, the mentoring program, the industry visits, and the networking events, are not just for meeting new people, but for future job offers, higher degrees, even more.

As an official staff in DB Schenker with nearly 1 year of work experience despite not yet graduated, I would say what I have now is partly thanks to RMIT for always supporting and guiding me, from the day I stepped the first steps in the university journey, till the day I receive my graduation certificate, and continue watching me then. Looking back, I am always grateful that day I have chosen RMIT: the knowledge I gain, the people I meet, the chances I get, everything like the glittered gold dust that sparkles and shines my entire life.

When I was in high school, I was the leader of a student group that rescued farmers from making losses in selling bananas due to their lack of knowledge and skills in supply chain management. Realising there was a wide gap in the talent pool in logistics and supply chain management in Vietnam, I decided to choose to study this program. Having a well-designed study path and being in an international learning environment, I’m constantly challenged to deal with real-world business problems”

Logistics & SCM brings me not just theoretical perspective of the industry from upstream to downstream, but it also equipped me with tons of practical learning which I could apply in various fields. Before I chose to pursue this major, many of my friends had told me: "This major is so challenging" and in fact, they were right. This major is so difficult for me. But after having done all the Logistics & SCM courses I realized those assignments trained me well to practice self-learning. Consequently, this experience contributes tremendously to my success in other courses that I sailed through just like a piece of cake. I have a strong belief that by pursuing such knowledge in Logistics & SCM I could work in any field after graduating.

The dedicated lecturers and the authentic approach to learning in the program really equipped me well for life and work. As part of a capstone project, I had a chance to make an in-depth analysis and practical recommendations to a real business problem for a leading last-mile delivery service provider. Plus, I had internship experiences with DHL eCommerce and KPMG, where, later, I was able to gain for full-time employment.
