Cashflow Management Application

The current banking system lacks an integrated solution for customers to manage their personal cash flow within the app. This requires users to rely on external methods, such as statements, SMS, or third-party apps, to track their expenses. This approach can be inconvenient and time-consuming, leading to a fragmented view of financial transactions. The need for a centralized and user-friendly solution within the banking app is essential to enhance customer experience and provide a seamless cash flow management experience. In addition, Tyme bank has different financial products and news that are exclusive to the customers of Tyme Bank and Tyme Bank expects to inform their customer about the information via the project application. 

Software setup:  

The architecture follows the client-server in which the client is the Android application developed using Kotlin Programming language and MVVM architecture while the server is the back-end application using Java Spring framework that provides API endpoints allowing the client to access the data from the back-end database. 

Outcome: 

The success of the project will provide the customers of Tyme with a supplementary Android app that allows them to view their cash flow from Tyme bank accounts outside of the primary banking application. The integration of cash-in and cash-out functionality helps the customers to facilitate tracking and monitoring of monthly financial transactions. In addition, the application provides collaboration with marketing and business teams to ensure seamless integration of advertisements and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
