Developing OpenAI Chatbot
The adoption of artificial intelligence in businesses is fast growing, driven by its abilities to improve decision-making, automate operations, and enhance customer service. This trend is significant because it allows companies to remain competitive, develop effectively, and use data-driven insights to gain strategic advantage in a dynamically digital environment.
Given the objective of leveraging AI potential to improve employee efficiency in daily office tasks significantly, De Heus has collaborated with RMIT University to launch a project about implementing an AI chatbot for internal activities.
De Heus’s employees frequently need a lot of time to acquire documents from the company's database (e.g. HR regulations, IT policies and instructions), which can cause delays or interruptions in other tasks. The proposed AI chatbot system addresses bottlenecks by providing fast access to questioned information, leading to a more productive and dynamic work environment.
The expected outcome from this project is the integration of an AI chatbot into De Heus’s SharePoint platform ready for usage by their staff. Theoretically, it contributes to the knowledge and experience of AI implementation within enterprises, offering insights into the integration of AI tools for improved productivity.
