The “Cốc Cốc TV Browser” received great public attention, reaching over 250,000 installations after seven months. The company’s next step in strengthening Cốc Cốc’s ecosystem is to provide a remote control application for the Android Smart TV, with exclusive features supporting the current “Cốc Cốc TV Browser”.

A physical remote offers basic control for Android TV such as turning on/off the TV, volume adjustment, and Dpad navigation. However, it lacks advanced features like multimodal input with a touchpad and keyboard or the ability to interact with website browsers. To enhance the user experience while watching TV, we developed an Android application that not only replicates the functions of a physical remote but also offers advanced features such as touchpad navigation, keyboard input, and customized quickly-open applications. In addition, this application also provides exclusive features for interacting with the Cốc Cốc TV Browser like sending links to the browser, opening cinema mode, and syncing browsing history and bookmarks.
