This stop motion project explores an abstract visual narrative created from 15 unrelated keywords: Biology, Chill, Purr, Furious, Tranquil, Memory, Run, Tapping, Sad, Halloween, Hands, Float, Cracked, Curious, and Bustling. Each keyword represents a different emotion, movement, texture, shape, color, or atmosphere. Although the words appear disconnected at first, the project experiments with how these contrasting ideas can interact and transform into a cohesive visual experience through motion. The animation focuses on the process of exploration and experimentation. Through brainstorming, sketching, and mind mapping, I developed visual connections between the keywords and translated them into moving forms and compositions. Some words inspired certain movements, such as floating, tapping, or running, while others influenced the mood through color, texture, and pacing. For example, “Tranquil” inspired softer movement and calmer colors, while “Furious” created faster motion and stronger contrast. Throughout the project, I applied elements and principles of design, including emphasis, unity, contrast, balance, repetition, and movement, to connect the different scenes together smoothly. The stop motion becomes a creative journey that demonstrates how unrelated concepts can combine to create an engaging and expressive visual story through animation and experimental design.
