This typeface design is inspired by the dynamic combination of residential, business, and industrial structures in the vibrant Ha Dong district and draws from Milton Glaser’s ideology of simplicity, effectiveness and timelessness. The Van Quan typeface is a playful and bold display typeface that utilises a modular approach to its form to deliver consistency across the full alphanumeric character set, which also includes consideration for Vietnamese diacritic glyphs.
