That’s My Bench! is a competitive party game that recreates the chaos of working out in a crowded gym. After a long day of staring at your phone, you down enough caffeine to fight the sun, run to the gym on all fours, only to find it packed. Your main objective: navigate, exercise, occasionally beat someone up, and make gains (Gains Points) faster than the guys next to you!
In That’s My Bench!, you play as a gym-goer competing against up to three others to reach 10 Gains Points first. Players take turns navigating the gym, reaching exercise machines, and completing workouts to score Gains Points.
Each exercise machine has different Strength and Speed requirements and rewards more points depending on how you structure your workout, so planning and optimizing your routine is key to winning. Spend your Aura to buy helpful items, complete challenges to gain leverage against other players, and adapt your workout on the fly to stay on top.
But beware of the other gym-goers! In the race to become the biggest, only one can emerge victorious. You will cross paths with other players who seek to stop you on your journey. Utilize your tools, fight and sabotage each other with a wide variety of cards to set other players back, and defend your lead.
That’s My Bench! pays tribute to modern fitness culture with humorous and whimsical twists, capturing moments like racing other people for machines and featuring cartoonish illustrations of exercises and items synonymous with the gym. As the game ramps up and everyone becomes stronger, you will be forced into head-to-head moments against your friends, where tension and scheming become the heart of the game.
